How to use the Media Library

The Media Library is a unified visibility layer for all your site's media. It shows all previewed and recently modified images, videos, pdfs, svgs and fragment references, so you can see their usages across the site, where they are referenced, and their metadata.

Key capabilities

• Usage & reference tracking — See where and how often each media asset is used across the site
• Search & filter — Find assets by file name, folder path, or document. Filter by types
• Metadata — View size, orientation, EXIF, origin
• Copy to clipboard — Copy media or URL and paste into documents
• Zero impact on authoring — Runs in the browser; scans and indexes without affecting your workflow

Media Library App

Open the Media Library at https://da.live/apps/media-library. On the landing page, enter your site's preview URL (e.g. https://main--demo--scdemos.aem.page/) to start the Media Library app.

The Media Library landing page will show cards corresponds to any previously visited sites ( similar to da.live landing page but this is for media library)
