How to edit common Elements of the site like Header and Footer
This demo shows how common site elements like the Header and Footer can be updated once and reflected across all pages, while also demonstrating how easy it is to author new pages from scratch in Document Authoring (DA).
The nav/footer block is usually not referenced by authors but is loaded automatically on every page.
It is not uncommon to have multiple nav/footer documents for a site eg. one per locale / language.
- You can override global nav/footer for your sub-site or content tree if needed by setting nav/footer attribute in page metadata (or using Bulk Metadata sheet)
This demo takes you through a journey from authors view to :
- Navigate to Nav and Footer document in Document Authoring (DA)
- Create/Updates/Remove links from the Navigation document
- Preview navigation document
- Publish page to make it live on https://demo.bbird.live/
